a bit about me

Having over 20 years experience in helping people buy their homes or remortgaging, I am fully qualified with a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice at levels 1,2&3 recognised by the Financial Services Authority.

I always remember the way I felt on my first steps and ensure that I do my best to make sure that every one of my clients are informed at every stage, ensuring that by the time any application is placed, they understand why we have gone for what we have gone for.

I treat my customers fairly by providing a personal, no obligation service. I listen to what you want and find the best mortgage that suits you from a comprehensive panel of lenders. With up to date search technology, including electronic submission direct to lenders, giving fast decisions and immediate application or cover when needed.

When not performing minor mortgage miracles, I live in the beautiful village of Nympsfield, high up in the Cotswold Hills with great access to Stonehouse, Stroud, Nailsworth and Dursley, with my wife, Jane, our  troublesome whippets, Poppy, William and Rufus, and a Dalek called Salvador. I can also be spotted making a fool of myself with a local Morris Dancing Side, watching my favourite football team, Forest Green Rovers or even playing my Mandolin in some Folky Pubs!

the science of mortgages

Buying a home can be a stressful and confusing time.  I can guide you through this process right through to completion.  This step-by-step guide is designed to support and inform you throughout your mortgage application.

the science of protection

No wants to think about what will happen when a loved one dies. Your life changes forever and the financial strain your family will experience will be the last thing they would want to worry about. If you have dependants or if you are in any form of debt, it is essential that you are prepared and you ensure your family is properly protected.

the science of home insurance

It can be tempting to try and save money by cutting back on your buildings and/or contents insurance policies, but experts agree that this is a false economy. The right cover will provide you with the peace of mind and financial protection that any damage to your home; accidental or otherwise can be covered avoiding unexpected expense.

Thank you so much for your help and advice. Buying my first property would have been a lot more stressful without you. Your very quick response to all my questions really put me at ease.

In my experience, integrity, efficiency and thoughtfulness are in short supply in the property industry, and you displayed all three in abundance. Thank you again for being a ray of sanity in a crazy situation.
